The Korean Association for Supporting the Children are conducting diverse activities to improve the health of the children.
This year, according to its stepwise plan, the association has sent health foods, toys, medicines and medical supplies to the baby homes, orphanages, nurseries, kindergartens, provincial children's hospitals and clinics and actively cooperated with the work to inoculate the children in contact with a public health institution.
The association has understood the growth of the nursery and kindergarten children on a regular basis and distributed printed matter for hygienic propaganda.
It has rendered positive assistance to the children in the mountain districts. Involved in the work were members of the association, public health workers and many volunteers at home.
The association is paying attention to developing and producing the health foods and medicines which are helpful to the growth, intellectual development and health care of the children.
The association was established on November 21, Juche 102(2013). Its basic mission is to help the work of the state for bringing up all the children healthily and happily by improving their health, nutrition, living conditions and environment.
