Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- The Kusong Chicken Farm was successfully remodeled in North Phyongan Province and its opening ceremony was held on Nov. 24.
Officials and working people in the province turned the farm into a modern poultry base in a short period of time.
Tens of production blocks have been remodeled, automation and industrialization have been realized and the ground for producing additive and fermented feed, methane gas-fed power plant, organic compound fertilizer production base and others have been newly built.
The closed loop re-circulatory production system and the industrial process of feed additive and fermented feed production based on domestic materials have been established and protein-rich feed production ground has been newly built.
The remodeling of the farm laid a material and technical foundation for making a positive contribution to the improvement of the living of the people in the province by producing more meat and eggs and for increasing agricultural production. -0-
