The Pyongyang University of Architecture is making successes in training scientific and technical personnel to shoulder the architectural development of the country.
On November 26, Juche 102(2013) the respected Kim Jong Un called at the Pyongyang University of Architecture and highly appreciated the successes made by the university over the past 60 years since its foundation and presented the tasks to bring about a fundamental change in the educational work in conformity with the demand of the developing reality.
The university has achieved many successes in its active efforts to carry out the instructions given by Kim Jong Un during his field guidance.
It opened over 120 new subjects and created and introduced more than 300 profitable educational methods including the five-dimensional design education by dint of computer. In the course it produced at least 340 student science pursuit prize winners and over 10 top student classes.
Students of the university completed over ten thousand designs of architectural formation, contributing to wonderfully building the Sci-Tech Complex and the dwelling houses and public buildings in the areas of Kwangmyongsong-dong and Rimyongsu-dong of Samjiyon City.
