A meeting was held on November 30 to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Electronic Automation Designing Institute.
Present there were O Su Yong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ju Yong Il, Minister of IT Industry, officials concerned, and officials and employees of the institute.
O Su Yong conveyed a congratulatory letter of the Central Committee of the WPK to the designers and other employees of the institute on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
The letter said the Electronic Automation Designing Institute has grown into an able technical group promoting the development of the electronics industry and automation technology of the country under the wise guidance of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected Kim Jong Un. It noted that the institute has made an active contribution to the socialist economic construction while carrying out with responsibility the designing and manufacturing of devices and equipment for putting production processes on a computerized and modern basis.
The letter highly praised the designers and other employees of the institute who have achieved valuable successes of surpassing the cutting-edge technology and contributed to promoting the independent and modern development of the national economy at the honourable post in charge of design, the foundation of industry.
