The great leader Kim Jong Il made an uninterrupted field guidance tour for happiness of the people all his life. On the way of his field guidance he met many people including a new-born baby, member of the Korean Children's Union, ordinary housewife, soldier, worker, peasant and scientist.
All the Korean people spend days with ardent longing for him.
Actress Choe Kum Hyang at the National Theatrical Troupe says:
"When he visited us, the great Kim Jong Il congratulated us on our marriage and said he would come again if we have a happy event. His kind voice seems to be still ringing in my ears.
When we have happy events day by day, I think of him first.
When I am applauded by people on the stage and when I see the photo of my son on the billboard for the model pupils of the school, I'd like to tell those happy news to him."
It was 12 years ago that Choe Kum Hyang met Kim Jong Il for the first time.
At that time, the National Theatrical Troupe re-created the light comedy "An Echo among the Hills" which was created in the 1960s. She was assigned the part of heroine.
One day in April Juche 99(2010) Kim Jong Il appreciated the light comedy and congratulated them on their successful performance. He called her nearby, asked about her family and promised to visit her when she moved into a new house.
A few months later, on October 8, she met him in her new house again. It was just 4 days after her marriage.
Kim Jong Il wished her a happy life and had a photo taken with her family.
One day in July next year he visited the National Theatrical Troupe again. He recognized her with pleasure and wished a happy future to her baby which was about to be born.
Her son is 10 years old now.
Seeing him grow healthily, Choe Kum Hyang felt her yearning for Kim Jong Il all the more.
Her son has grown up, listening to the story of his love associated with his family. That is why he is longing for Kim Jong Il though he never met him.
It is said that everything gets dim with the lapse of the time. But the Korean people's longing for Kim Jong Il becomes more ardent with each passing day. 10 years has passed with such yearning for him.
