Young men and women in Jagang Province continue to volunteer to work in difficult and labour-consuming sectors.
Dozens of young people volunteered for the provincial youth shock brigade, railway workteam, farm and other workplaces in major economic sectors with great enthusiasm for performing feats in the van of the general advance for implementing the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the administrative policy of the DPRK government.
Those who went to farms and railway workteams included a youth league official of Kanggye Teachers Training College and a youth league and children's union instructor of Changjin Senior Middle School in Jonchon County.
Youths of Songwon County and Manpho City volunteered to work at the livestock farming base in the Sepho area, goat farms in their local areas, the provincial youth shock brigade and provincial urban construction brigade.
A meeting to congratulate those who volunteered for labour-consuming sectors took place at the provincial art theatre.
They were awarded the certificates of volunteer and congratulatory speeches were followed by those expressing resolutions.
