A meeting was held on the 6th to convey the congratulatory letter sent by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the employees and officials of the Chongryu Restaurant on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its establishment.
Present there were O Su Yong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and officials and employees of the restaurant.
O Su Yong conveyed the congratulatory letter.
The letter said.
On December 6, Juche 70(1981) the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il visited the public catering service centre conspicuously built on the bank of the Pothong River, named it "Chongryu Restaurant" and instructed on making national foods well to serve the people. As years pass by, the people warmly recall the leadership exploits of the great leaders.
The letter highly praised the merits of the employees and officials of the restaurant who have devotedall sincerity to the service activities with the boundless loyalty to the leader and the spirit of devoted service for the people at their revolutionary post and thus contributed to making the people lead a happy life and developing the food culture peculiar to the Korean nation.
