A rally of officials and members of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea was held at the plaza of the Arch of Triumph in Pyongyang on the 13th to thoroughly implement the decisions of the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present there were Min Sung Chol, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, officials of the Women's Union and its members in Pyongyang City.
A report was made by Kim Jong Sun, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea.
The reporter said the great action programme presented by the plenary meeting represents the firm faith and will of the Party to open up a broad avenue for implementing the five-year plan and achieve the high ambition of national prosperity as soon as possible by our own efforts and in our own style despite any difficulties. She called for fully demonstrating the might of the Women's Union in the struggle for implementing the Party decisions.
The report was followed by speeches.
A letter of pledge to the respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the rally.
After the rally, members of the Women's Union in the city conducted information activities.
