The Democratic People's Republic of Korea regards the agricultural production, stockbreeding and fishery as three important thrusts in solving the food problem of the people.
The respected Kim Jong Un is making tireless efforts to develop stockbreeding so that the people can benefit from it.
He saw that the Sepho tableland was reclaimed into a large-scale stockbreeding base.
After the start of its reclamation in December Juche 101(2012), the construction of the stockbreeding base in the Sepho area was accelerated as a work of the entire Party and the whole society.
In those days Kim Jong Un often learned about the project, gave precious instructions time and again and sent vehicles and books on the world trend of development of the animal husbandry.
And on January 28, Juche 104(2015), he made public the historic work "Let Us Expedite the Construction of the Livestock Farming Base in the Sepho Area and Bring about a New Turn in Developing Animal Husbandry", making clear the orientation and ways for developing the animal husbandry.
In October Juche 106(2017), the Sepho tableland was turned into a large-scale stockbreeding centre with animal houses based on the computer integrated manufacturing system and the anti-epizootic system, anti-epizootic facilities and animal products processing bases.
Kim Jong Un visited a lot of stockbreeding bases in order to provide the people with more meat, eggs and dairy products.
He visited the Kwangchon Chicken Farm under construction in July Juche 109(2020).
Really great was his expectation of the farm to be built into a model and standard of the poultry farming of the country and into a farm making a substantial contribution to solving the issue of people's diet.
That day, Kim Jong Un gave specific instructions on thoroughly ensuring the quality of construction according to the installation of modern facilities, building good farms for supply of feed and developing them and doing a foresighted work to train technicians who can skilfully handle the advanced equipment of the farm.
Stockbreeding bases were built across the country, true to his lofty intention that we should do something giving benefits to the people. They are now increasing the meat, egg and milk production.
