Forest is precious resources and wealth of a country.
Tree nurseries have been built in all parts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and they are associated with the devoted efforts made by the respected Kim Jong Un to turn all the mountains of the country into treasure and golden mountains thick with green woods.
Kim Jong Un regarded it as the most important issue in the afforestation to ensure sufficient saplings.
He visited Tree Nursery No. 122 under the Ministry of National Defence in December Juche 104(2015).
Looking round different places of the tree nursery, he said: The forest restoration campaign is a patriotic work for the everlasting prosperity of the country and a long-term work which can expect a success in coming 10 years. So we shouldn't be discouraged as there is no distinct success after planting trees for one or two years.
I've come here to turn the tree nursery into a model and standard of the tree nurseries in our country, which has been perfectly put on a scientific, industrial and intensive basis.
I am really pleased to find such a job for success in the forest restoration campaign, a patriotic work of eternal value, which has to be done for the posterity. This is a pride and happiness, he added.
When he visited the tree nursery in May the next year, Kim Jong Un said with great pleasure that it had been changed beyond recognition.
Later, with it as a model, modern tree nurseries were built one after another, including the Kangwon Provincial Tree Nursery and the North Hamgyong Provincial Tree Nursery.
Afforestation is an issue that brooks no delay however difficult the conditions may be; it is also a patriotic work for the everlasting prosperity of the country.
Korea will be changed beautifully according to the noble intention of Kim Jong Un to bring a better future.
