The 80-horsepower "Chollima-804" tractors were produced by the Kumsong Tractor Factory in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The respected Kim Jong Un saw them on the spot on November 14, Juche 106(2017).
In the previous year, he watched a sample of new-type tractor made at the factory and said it was handsome, and set a goal for its mass production.
Looking with a bright smile on his face at hundreds of 80-horsepower tractors of new type standing in rows, he said he felt confident to picture to himself those tractors working in the paddy and dry fields of the country.
He got on a tractor and drove it to learn about its performance and technical specifications in detail and then praised that it had been made well to suit the constitution of the Korean people.
Nearly 99 percent of over 10,000 accessories of the tractor were made at the factory.
Kim Jong Un highly estimated the feats of the workers of the factory, saying those tractors produced by dint of self-reliance are not merely vehicles, but iron horses of self-reliance and self-development opening a shortcut to an economic giant.
That day, he looked round various workshops in detail and set forth the tasks for remodelling the factory.
Now the Kumsong Tractor Factory has been completely changed.
It will produce high-powered tractors and various kinds of efficient farm machines in the future.
It is the noble intention of Kim Jong Un to present a new scene of the socialist countryside which is filled with homemade modern farm machines and where all the farm work is done merrily with them.
