Rural communities around Pyongyang City are directing efforts to the production of greenhouse vegetables.
The Jangchon Vegetable Cooperative Farm in Sadong District has properly distributed the crops and varieties suited to the soil constituent and greenhouse conditions and carried out their nutrition administration and harvesting in time in a qualitative way according to the stage of growth, thus producing different kinds of greenhouse vegetables more than planned.
Vegetable greenhouses in Kangnam County are doing the harvesting qualitatively while conducting the sowing, weeding, fertilizer applying and humidity control in a responsible manner.
Other vegetable greenhouses including the vegetable greenhouse of Hyongjesan District are reaping a rich harvest of spinach, lettuce and crown daisy.
