Meetings of activists in the field of agriculture were held in Pyongyang and provinces between the 26th and the 28th.

They were aimed at encouraging the entire agricultural workers to glorify the significant year 2022 marking the 110th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung and the 80th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il as a year of extensive farming and a year of new victory by putting spurs to the dynamic advance while consolidating the successes achieved in the farming last year.

Present there were exemplary innovators, scientists and officials of the farms, agricultural scientific research institutions and relevant units leading the implementation of the agricultural policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The meetings were guided by Secretary Jong Sang Hak and other senior officials of the Central Committee of the WPK.

Reports and speeches were made.

Tractors sent by the respected Kim Jong Un were conveyed to the farms and workteams that reaped a good harvest and displayed noble patriotism in the implementation of the decisions adopted at the Eighth Party Congress.

Party and state commendations were awarded to the patriotic farmers, officials, scientists and technicians who made a great contribution to increasing the grain production.

According to a decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Order of Kim Il Sung was awarded to Ri Man Song and the Order of Kim Jong Il to Kim Sung Il.

The title of Labour Hero of the DPRK and Gold Medal (Hammer and Sickle) and Order of the National Flag 1st Class were conferred on Kim Tuk Song and six others.

Watch bearing the name of Kim Jong Il was conferred on Ri Yong Gap and two others and citation of General Secretary of the WPK Kim Jong Un on Kim Yong Bin and 15 others.

Kim Il Sung Youth Honour Prize was awarded to five persons and Kim Jong Il Youth Honour Prize to four persons.

Honorary titles and official commendations were bestowed on many people.

Then, prizes were awarded to the farms at the head of implementing the Party's policy on the agricultural revolution.

The meetings adopted letters of pledge to Kim Jong Un.

During the meetings, the participants took part in workshops for achieving greater success in the grain production this year on the basis of farming experiences and lessons of last year and watched multimedia programs to acquire advanced farming science and technology and actively exchange and share the excellent farming experiences, and enjoyed performances given for them.
