Foul Nature of Disturber of Peace Cannot Be Hidden

Date: 01/02/2022 | Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EN) | Read original version at source

Recently, the U.S. is hell-bent on military aid for Ukraine together with its allies in NATO, driving the already strained situation to the brink of war.

As is already known, Russia and the U.S. are now in sharp confrontation over the issue of Ukraine and the issue of providing security guarantee.

The U.S., in disregard of Russia’s demand to provide security guarantee on a legal basis, is stirring up an atmosphere of confrontation against Russia by setting afloat persistent “rumors about invasion of Ukraine” by Russia.

The U.S. is also deploying lots of military hardware including lethal weapons and ammunition following the announcement of its military aid program for Ukraine worth hundreds of millions of dollars. With this, it is instigating Ukraine into military confrontation with Russia.

Some of NATO member states also delivered state-of-the-art military hardware and dispatched special forces to Ukraine, and they are also busy with announcing their plans for providing emergency funds.

In response to this, Russia announced its plan to carry out a large-scale joint military exercise codenamed “Decision of Union-2022” with Belarus, a neighbor of Ukraine. After that, it deployed units under every military district and the latest armaments including “C-400” ground-to-air missile complex and “Cy-35C” fighters. Russia is also making show of force by staging all kinds of military exercises on and around the Crimean Peninsula and in the Black Sea.

Analysts comment that there is no prospect to defuse the crisis revolving around Ukraine as long as the U.S. persists in its military pressure against Russia, pursuing eastward expansion of NATO.

If the U.S. does not abandon its ambition for world hegemony and becomes more brazen in its military threat against other countries, it will inevitably invite strong reaction from these countries, and the foul nature of the U.S., disturber of peace, will be exposed in all nakedness.
