DPRK Premier Inspects Different Cities and Counties in North Phyongan and North Hwanghae Provinces

Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected some cities and counties of North Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces.
Going round local industrial factories, an organic compound fertilizer factory and a farm in Cholsan and Sonchon counties and Jongju City of North Phyongan Province, the premier said that success in the work for implementing the decisions of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee mainly hinges on the scrupulous and stubborn organizing ability of officials and their high creativity and devoted service.
He stressed the need to provide sustained and stable conditions for improving the people's living standard and developing the local economy and agriculture by consolidating the material and technical foundations of local industrial factories and agricultural production with locally available raw materials on the principle of self-reliance and self-sufficiency.
At Hwangju Primary School in Hwangju County where the new school year began, he learned about the supply of school uniforms, shoes, bags and things to the new pupils and urged the officials to devote their wisdom and ardor to the work for improving the educational conditions, true to the noble intention of the Party which regards the work for the rising generations as the most important affair.
Making field survey of the construction of the Kwangchon Chicken Farm and the Hwangju-Kindung waterway and the farming situation of Yonthan County, he called for pushing ahead with the construction projects of weighty significance in the people's dietary life and the agricultural development as planned and supplying the farming materials in time.
Discussed at the field consultative meetings were such issues as activating the production of organic compound fertilizer, raising the mechanization rate in farm work, doing sowing and other farm work in a scientific and technological way according to farming processes, putting the afforestation at the Kwangchon Chicken Farm in a qualitative way, providing necessary equipment and materials needed for construction projects in a responsible way, supplying quality dairy products to the children on a normal basis and scrupulously organizing the production of school uniforms.
