The emergency anti-epidemic campaign is intensified as the days go by along with the all-people unity in thinking and voluntary action.

The respected Kim Jong Un has guided a meeting, consultative meetings of the Political Bureau and a meeting of its Presidium of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea in succession, leading the harsh anti-epidemic war to a great victory. His great love for the people and unremitting revolutionary leadership warmly touch the heartstrings of all people and provide the firm favourable conditions to the overall anti-epidemic front.

The party organizations at all levels and the emergency anti-epidemic units are making serious discussions to urgently correct the defects, discontinuities, evil practices and shortcomings in the anti-epidemic work from the viewpoint of criticism and development on the basis of the idea and spirit of the meeting of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee.

They are doing a methodological work to inform the officials and working people in their regions and units again of and rearm them with the anti-epidemic policies decided by the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee, and intensifying education and control to keep them from their willful interpretation of the anti-epidemic policies whose validity, efficiency and scientific accuracy have been proved as well as their self-willed action.

The State Emergency Anti-Epidemic Headquarters and the emergency anti-epidemic sectors at all levels are taking sci-tech and practical measures to steadily and flexibly coordinate the emergency measures taken after the operation of the greatest emergency anti-epidemic system.

Study of additional anti-epidemic measures has begun such as the installation of the medicines-distributing centre and regional treatment centres across the country in cooperation with the anti-epidemic and public health sectors, and relevant instructions are given to all sectors.

As more isolation wards have been set up and the number of those in house quarantine increases on a nationwide scale, the disinfection is further intensified as part of the work to cut off the space of spread of the pandemic and its infection way. In Pyongyang City alone, thousands of tons of salt has been urgently transported for the production of disinfectants.

The production units in the field of public health are promoting with a blitz the work to produce a greater number of medical appliances including thermometers and supply them to all parts of the country. They are also producing injections and traditional Koryo medicines which can be effective for prevention and treatment of the malignant disease.

The scientific research institutions are intensifying the work to confirm the course and cause of the spread of the pandemic more concretely and supplement the content of the manual for treatment steadily. They have also defined in a scientific way the rational days of isolating those in a fever and the standard of freeing them from isolation.

There are the study of watching up the serious situation that new variants continue to occur and be spread in the neighbouring regions of Korea and predicting the tendency of spread of the malignant disease in a scientific way and the work to speed up the material and technical preparations for coping with the future threats and challenges in an all-round way.

All sectors of the national economy are accelerating production to the utmost while strictly executing the anti-epidemic measures taken by the Party and the state under the condition that every region or unit has been tightly closed.

Unified commanding and obeying system of the state over the anti-epidemic work has been reinforced and the social unity in voluntary action further intensified, while the decisions and instructions of the Party Central Committee and the emergency measures of the state are strictly executed.
