Anti-epidemic campaign gains momentum

Amid an all-Party, nationwide and all-people campaign to rapidly curb the spread of the epidemic, workers, lecturers and students in public health and epidemic prevention sectors are making proactive efforts for scientific and intensive disease screening, medical check-up and treatment and hygienic information activities in local areas and units.

According to information available, well over a million people are now involved in the nationwide campaign to block and root out the source of the spread of the malignant epidemic, including household doctors, medical workers of hospitals at all levels, lecturers and students of medical worker training institutions and persons in charge of hygiene in each unit.

Lots of household doctors across the country carry on disease screening and medical check-ups for families in their charge, while offering medical observation and positive treatment to those with fever.

Medical workers of hospitals at all levels make the rounds of areas and households in their charge to closely watch the courses of the disease of those with fever and apply scientific treatment methods and tactics in line with requirements of a special guide.

Many old volunteers who retired from the public health service have been engaged in hygienic information activities, disease screening and medical check-ups since the top emergency anti-epidemic system was put in operation.

Similar efforts are being made by the lecturers and students of medical worker training institutions who conduct relevant activities in a mind of serving their own parents and brothers and sisters, and the workers in the anti-epidemic sectors and lots of persons in charge of hygiene in all units across the country are waging a do-or-die struggle against the epidemic.
