The superiority and vitality of the section doctor system enforced in the DPRK are more clearly proved in the protracted emergency anti-epidemic campaign.
Under the section doctor system, the entire people are usually given health protection with the responsible and systematic help of the doctors.
The doctors study and grasp the hygienic state of the regions in their charge and the health of the residents, intensify the hygienic propaganda and systematically give medical checkup, examination and other health care in contact with specialized doctors.
Especially, they pay attention to the consultation and health care for children, pregnant women and old people, calling on them to give timely and efficient treatment on the principle of satisfying their demand to the full.
The medical examination of all residents is followed by medical observation and active measures for treatment and disinfection of every working and living space intensified under the section doctor system to intercept and remove the source of spread of the malignant pandemic.
