Rallies of working people's organizations were held on the 24th on the occasion of June 25, the day of struggle against US imperialism.
Youth and students held a rally at the Youth Park Open-Air Theatre in Pyongyang City, agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea at the education yard of the Class Education House in Susan-ri, Kangso District of Nampho City, and officials and members the Socialist Women's Union of Korea at the education yard of the Sinchon Museum in South Hwanghae Province.
Present at the rallies were the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, the Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, the Secretaries of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee and the Nampho City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials and members of the working people's organizations.
Speakers at the rallies said that the US imperialists who had long looked for a chance of aggression invaded the sacred land of Korea and have imposed untold misfortunes and sufferings upon the Korean people.
If the US imperialists dare to provoke another war, the entire people of Korea will give full play to their pent-up grudge and resentment and mercilessly wipe out the US imperialists and class enemies, they declared.
The participants shouted the slogans expressing their retaliatory will against the US aggressors.
