An Enlarged Meeting of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held at the headquarters building of the Party Central Committee on June 27.
The respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK guided the meeting.
Present at the meeting were members of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the WPK.
Present there as observers were the directors of the departments concerned, First Deputy Director and deputy directors of the Department of Organizational Affairs of the Central Committee of the WPK.
Discussed at the meeting were important issues on the Party affairs including the issues on improving and readjusting work system of the leadership organs of the Party at all levels and strengthening their political activities, on reorganizing structures of some departments of the Party Central Committee, on setting up a new system to strengthen guidance and assistance over the work of provincial Party Committees, on improving the regulations of the work of the general affairs of the Party and the system of confidential management, on strengthening political guidance over the works of state security, public security, judicial and prosecutory sectors and for the present organizing and conducting necessary work within this year, on establishing new study system to increase the political and practical qualifications of officials of the Party organizations at all levels and their working ability and on attaching importance to and strengthening the work of the working people's organizations throughout the whole Party.
Kim Jong Un made an important conclusion on the missions and immediate tasks of the departments of the Party Central Committee and major principle to be maintained in the Party's political activities throughout the whole Party and tasks and ways for it.
