Boswa Isekombe Sylvere, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Democratic Congo, issued a press statement under the title "The Workers' Party of Korea Serving the People" on the 19th on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the WPK.
In the press statement he pointed out that leader Kim Jong Il made all painstaking efforts to build the WPK into a genuine Party serving the people.
He said leader Kim Jong Il regarded it as the supreme principle of the party activities to improve the people's living and led the work to apply it thoroughly and continued:
Under his energetic leadership, great successes were achieved in the work for the improvement of the people's living such as stockbreeding, pomiculture and fishery and cultural recreation resorts for the people built in every scenic place of the country.
Leader Kim Jong Il led all the officials to become true servants of the people serving them devotedly. The WPK's history of love for the people goes on thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Un, he stressed.
