Korea has long cultivated laver with good taste and high nutritive value. Especially, the Korean laver is well-known to the world.
The Pyongyang Taesong Laver Processing Factory produces various kinds of processed laver with natural taste and flavour.
Choe Mi Ok, Manageress of the Pyongyang Taesong Laver Processing Factory, says:
"The respected Kim Jong Un visited our factory on July 10, 2015.
At that time, the factory was producing only four varieties of processed laver of three kinds.
He spent a long time to teach us various laver processing methods."
That day, the respected Kim Jong Un visited the factory to make it process the health food--laver--well in various ways to be widely used for the people's diet.
The people's demand for laver is very high, but its variety is not enough, he said and earnestly called for producing various kinds of tasty processed laver in large quantities for the people.
Later, he sent books on latest science and technology helpful to processing laver.
Under his concern, the factory established a new processing method to expand varieties of processed laver and increased modern production processes.
The Pyongyang Taesong Laver Processing Factory has turned into a seafood processing complex and its diverse products enrich the people's diet all the more.
