All the sectors and units in the DPRK are waging a collective emulation drive for putting production processes on a modern basis, realizing domestic production of raw and other materials and recycling.
Workers and technicians of the Taean Friendship Glass Factory have boosted production by introducing 30-odd valuable technical innovations into production and conducting quality management in a scientific way, from the purchase of raw materials to shipment.
The Taean Heavy Machine Complex introduced at least ten inventions into production by putting efforts into technically perfecting the workpiece production process while improving the performance of equipment.
The Haeju and Anju tractor parts factories sent tens of kinds of tractor parts to farms in the first half of the year by solving technical problems arising in modernly reinforcing production processes including the production, processing and heat treatment of workpieces.
The Ryuwon and Sinuiju footwear factories developed and introduced dozens of shoe designs into production and enhanced the performance of major equipment to improve the quality of products.
The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill brought about an upsurge in production, thereby producing over 20 workers who fulfilled their yearly plans and more than 190 others who implemented their first half-yearly plans.
The Sinuiju and Pyongyang cosmetics factories, the Wonsan Disabled Soldiers' Bag Factory, the Pyongyang Bag Factory and many other producers achieve successes in boosting the proportion of locally available raw and other materials and developing new products.
