In order to increase production, the Taegak Youth Power Station pays primary attention to securing all kinds of spare parts needed for ensuring full capacity operation of generating equipment.
And the Sunchon Barrage Power Station designed and introduced various technical innovations including the refashioning of turbine blades to generate more electricity with the same amount of water.
Other minor power stations in different areas including Songchon and Hoechang counties employed positive technical measures to increase generating efficiency, thereby boosting power generation.
At present, the electricity produced at the minor power stations in the province makes a big contribution to developing the local economy.
