Our family pocketbook, which is used by the family of Jong Ae living in Jurye-dong of Phyongsong, South Phyongan Province, is drawing the attention of people.
The worn book contains the addresses, dates of birth, number of family members and family circumstances of war veterans in the dong.
Jong Ae made the book in order to realize her father’s desire.
Her father, a war veteran, voluntarily did good things for the country so as to repay even a bit the favour shown by the state.
Understanding the mind of her father, she began to take care of other war veterans.
Now her daughter has taken over the book and their good deeds are highly appreciated by many.
