On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), Nepal-DPRK Friendship Association and other political parties and organizations issued a joint statement on August 10.
The statement said that August 15 1945 is the day of Korea’s liberation from the military rule of the Japanese imperialists, and continued:
“This historic day is a very precious day for the Korean people who advanced along the road of victory and glory under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and are accelerating the building of a thriving nation, rallying firmly around His Excellency Kim Jong Un.
“The pains taken by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il for the country and nation and the immortal exploits performed by them for implementing the cause of independence against imperialism will shine forever with the century.
“We extend full support and solidarity to the struggle of the Korean people for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.”
