The revolutionary enthusiasm of the new generation to leave the remarkable footprints of life in the history of a thriving country building was powerfully expressed through the circuit forum of young volunteers.

The volunteers who met the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as they participated in the Youth Day celebrations last year took the floor at the forum held in Pyongyang, South Phyongan, North Hwanghae, Kangwon and South Hamgyong provinces and Kaesong City between September 12 and 20.

They emotionally talked about the benevolent affection of General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is so pleased with minor good deeds of young people and places great trust on and shows warm love to them, touching the heart of the participants.

The speakers said excitedly that the embrace of the General Secretary, who called the volunteers who were neither heroes nor labour innovators that rendered distinguished services to the country as delegates to the Youth Day celebrations and had a photograph taken with them, is the embrace of the Sun in which the Korean youth will live forever.

Ri Mi Sun, a worker at the Taesong District Road System Management Station in Pyongyang, said she volunteered as a road keeper out of an earnest desire to clean in all sincerity the roads the General Secretary travels for the country’s prosperity and the people’s well-being.

Choe Sung Ha, a subworkteam leader of the youth workteam of the Hyonri Livestock Farm in Sepho County, Kangwon Province, who left his dear home in Pyongyang and volunteered to work at the livestock farming base in the Sepho area with ambition and hope to implement the childcare policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea, said that to strive to carry out the noble intention of the General Secretary even a bit is just the way to remain loyal to the motherland and fulfil one’s duty as socialist patriotic youth.

Jong Kwang Chol, who volunteered to work at the youth subworkteam of the Songok Farm in Pakchon County, North Phyongan Province, after working as an instructor of the county youth league committee, expressed his resolve to become a patriotic farmer who devote his sincere sweat to the fields by keeping deep in mind the love and trust of the General Secretary who put them forward for the world to know, and called on all young people to become the genuine youth vanguard who sincerely share the intention and destiny with the great Party and the passionate youth who shoulder the heavy burden on the country.

The touching stories of the speakers included those about the circumstances where they made a decision to volunteer for a difficult job, about the times when they succumbed to difficulties even for a moment as they vacillated, but the motherly Party gave them strength and courage each time and led them along the road of patriotism step by step, and about the trust and encouragement given to them by their organizations and comrades.

The recent forum served as an occasion that doubled the revolutionary enthusiasm and patriotic zeal of the youth vanguard, who are out in the struggle for implementing the decisions of the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
