The European regional internet seminar "74 Years of Progress and Prosperity Achieved under the Banner of the Juche Idea" was held between the 3rd and the 11th under the sponsorship of the Britain-KoreaFriendship Association for celebrating the 74th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Posted on the homepage of the seminar was a photo of the floral basket sent to the respected Kim Jong Un by the participants in the seminar.

Also blogged were congratulatory letters sent to the seminar by the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the Arab Regional Committeefor Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee to Support the Reunification of Korea and other organizations of various countries including the DPRK.

The homepage also blogged speeches of different titles including "Rays of the Korean Revolution Are Shed over the World", "The DPRK, the Country of Juche" and "The Position and Role of the DPRK in the Modern World".

The seminar was attended by personages of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in Greece, Germany, Bulgaria, Britain and other European countries and Nepal and Pakistan and members of the Korean Friendship Association.

The Chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association made a keynote report.

He said the founding of the DPRK was an event of special significance in the 5,000-year-long history of the nation and a great victory in the Korean people's struggle for independence.

He noted that since its founding, the DPRK has achieved remarkable successes in the socialist construction, solving all problems in conformity with the specific conditions of the country and the interests of the people by thoroughly applying the Juche idea.

He stressed that the socialist cause of Juche, the cause of the people whose foundation was laid by President Kim Il Sung and which vigorously advanced under the guidance of leader Kim Jong Il, is brilliantly carried forward under the leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un.

Speeches were made.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.

Also made public was a resolution expressing full support to the policy speech made by Kim Jong Un at the Seventh Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the adoption of the law concerning the policy of the state nuclear forces.

During the seminar, there was an exhibition of photos showing the reality of socialist Korea advancing under the banner of the Juche idea and the beautiful capital city of Pyongyang.
