The Tenth Politburo Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held at the Headquarters of the Party Central Committee on September 25.
Present at the meeting were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee.
Upon authorization of the respected Kim Jong Un, Jo Yong Won, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Secretary for Organizational Affairs of the Party Central Committee, presided over the meeting.
The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK checked the state of farming this year and discussed an issue on thoroughly implementing the relevant agricultural policies
as a main agenda item before adopting a crucial resolution.
The Politburo Meeting called for mobilizing and concentrating all efforts and means on the present harvesting and thrashing, improving the grain procurement and supply work and more powerfully waging the struggle against all kinds of practices hindering the implementation of the cereals policy of the Party and the state.
