The Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station is one of the leading large-scale hydropower stations in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
As the name of the power station says, it is a creation built by young people.
All things of the power station are associated with the appellation of "Heroic Youth".
There are a dam with the letters of "Heroic Youth" on it, the Lake Paektu Heroic Youth, the Monument to Feats of Heroic Youth shining with gold star and the Paektusan Hero Youth Exploits Exhibition Hall.
The respected Kim Jong Un visited the construction site of the power station on September 13, Juche 104(2015).
Looking round the power station, he said the young people are really admirable and they are all heroes and named it the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station.
And he saw to it that the education room under construction was built into the Paektusan Hero Youth Exploits Exhibition Hall.
He also ensured that the Monument to Feats of Heroic Youth was built at the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station and the letters of "Heroic Youth" were written on the dam of Unit 1 of the power station.
Heroic youth!
It is a precious title given by Kim Jong Un to all the Korean young people and his deep trust in them.
