The Amusement Park of the Kaeson Youth Park is furnished with many service facilities like bread and pancake houses and a pastry kiosk.
After riding amusement facilities full of thrills to the tune of cheerful music, the visitors cool themselves at soft-drink kiosks and snack bars as they enjoy refreshing drinks and various foods.
It is another joy they can experience at the park to see the deft culinary skills of cooks while smelling the lovely fragrance coming from the open kitchen.
People also spend a pleasant time having different kinds of breads and soda pop at the soft-drink kiosks near the entrance to the park.
While parents are engrossed in choosing delicious sweets and biscuits for their children, kids bustle around to pick enticing amusement facilities without thinking of tasty snacks.
The pancake house is also crowded with visitors who prefer the traditional food.
According to a waitress there, most of the diners who are tempted into the house by the savoury smell try every kind of pancake such as mung-bean pancake and sorghum pancake stuffed with mashed red bean, before leaving the eatery.
The pastry kiosk also serves fresh mineral water.
“I feel joy at the park not only as I ride amusement facilities but also as I see people filled with pleasure while enjoying refreshing drink at a soft-drink kiosk or snack bar. I feel ten years younger as I see boisterous merrymakers,” said Pak Kum Nyo living in Taedonggang District, Pyongyang.
