Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Russian President

Kim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on October 7.
The message reads as follows:
I extend my heartfelt warm congratulations to you on your 70 th birthday.
You have made signal achievements in attaining the grand strategic target for building powerful Russia through your energetic activities, assuming the heavy responsibility of the head of the state for many years. Thus, you are enjoying high respect and support from the broad masses of people.
Today, Russia is reliably defending the dignity of the state and its fundamental interests from the challenges and threats by the U.S. and its vassal forces. Such reality is unthinkable apart from your distinguished leadership and strong will.
I am rejoiced over the fact that the mutual support and cooperation between the DPRK and Russia is being strengthened as never before in the struggle to develop the traditional bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation onto a higher stage under the agreement reached at our first meeting in Vladivostok in 2019 as well as in the struggle to defend the regional peace and stability and realize the international justice.
I hope that our personal ties will play a bigger role in steadily consolidating and developing the DPRK-Russia friendship, verified and further cemented in the tempest of history, in keeping with the demand of the times and the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries. I also wish you happiness in good health as well as great successes in your responsible work for the prosperity of Russia.
