Steeve NOËLPresident,Haiti-Korea Cultural AssociationWe have the ultimate honor to deliver a speech at this seminar on behalf of the Haiti–Korea Cultural Association, but above all to expose to the world the international position of the Juche idea in the anti-imperialist struggle in the twenty-first century.For our speech, we intend to return not only to the creating and developing in depth of the Juche idea as the guiding ideology of the DPRK, but also to the contribution of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and General Secretary Kim Jong Un to the emancipation of the human.Before seriously engaging our remarks on the question that interests us, it is necessary to refer to the outset of the problem of the anti-imperialist struggle in the twenty-first century. What does this really mean for the opposing forces? Or what is the current historical significance of the Juche idea in this struggle in the twenty-first century? Here are two extremely important questions that we will hardly try to answer.The world order that emerged after the Second World War, that is, a bipolar order in which the US and the USSR clashed, was shattered because of the implosion of the Soviet Union in the late 1990s. This abrupt change in international relations had been a blow to the movement of the world proletariat and the struggles for national liberation. The rear base of the national liberation movements represented by the Eastern Bloc was collapsing. And the unipolar world with the United States as the world's only policeman posed the greatest threat to international peace and security.Fortunately, this situation did not last. A new change is being brought about in the international relations of forces as the forces against the Western imperialist powers have emerged in the international arena to strengthen their influence.Today, oppressed and exploited peoples must rely only on themselves. President Kim Il Sung had covered this path of working for a new world order based on sovereignty and friendship between countries and nations.Comrade Kim Jong Un is the worthy successor of the Juche principle in diplomacy by bringing back to the negotiating table the brutal force of the United States, which understands only the language of force.Indeed, Juche in ideology, independence in politics, self-sufficiency in the economy and self-reliance in defence have an international position for the anti-imperialist struggle in the 21st century.Particularly under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, the DPRK obtained its strong war deterrent in the face of imperialist aggression.The policy firmly implemented by Comrade Kim Jong Un is an essential point on which the right to self-determination of the Korean people is based.In essence, here's how the Juche idea has an international reach. It paves the way by taking into account the historical conditions of each country and the emphasis on each culture in the anti-imperialist struggle in the 21st century. The Juche idea indicates that the people in every country must not admit external pressure and interference of any kind. And this is the most important aspect of self-determination.
