He inflicted serious defeat upon the US imperialists who boasted of being “the strongest” in the world, for the first time in history so as to make them doomed like the setting sun in the west. He turned the DPRK into a socialist country--independent, self-sufficient and self-reliant in defence.For its great vitality and attraction, the Juche idea touched hearts of all people. Accomplishing the cause of independence on a worldwide scale has become an unquenchable trend of the era.Numbers of Juche idea study groups are on a daily increase and ranks of the Juche idea followers expand. Such popular policies as free medical care system, free education system and abolition of tax system were enforced in the DPRK. A flower garden of human love that all people help and lead with one another was unfolded in the DPRK. Comrade Kim Il Sung’s warm love for people was not confined only to the DPRK people. Many people in the world were impressed with his lofty virtue and warm benevolence. Numerous legendary episodes tell his noble virtue and warm love. During his visit to the DPRK, the former president of a broadcasting station in Guinea was at a crossroad of life and death unexpectedly. At that time, Comrade Kim Il Sung saw that emergency measures were taken for the president, thus recovering him miraculously. When the former Austrian prime minister came to suffer from his paralyzed legs in his aged years, Comrade Kim Il Sung dispatched able medical doctors to Austria so as to make him stand on his feet. That’s why the former Portuguese president praised highly by saying that President Kim Il Sung is the great man who moves the world with benevolence.Comrade Kim Il Sung charmed all the people with great force of attraction. In his lifetime, he received over 70 000 prominent foreign political and social activists, men of the press and personages of all strata. Everyone who was received by Comrade Kim Il Sung was fascinated by his personality of a great man. Meeting Comrade Kim Il Sung, distinguished heads of state and celebrated figures in the East and the West, including Stalin in the Soviet Union, Mao Ze-dong and Zhou En-lai in China, Fidel Castro in Cuba, Sukarno in Indonesia, Tito in Yugoslavia, Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, Kanemaru Shin in Japan, Louise Rinser in Germany and Mitterrand in France unanimously praised highly his personality of a great man.
