Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued order No. 0037 on November 26, Juche 111(2022) on promoting the military ranks of leading officials and scientists of the defence science research sector who fully demonstrated all over the world the strong might of the strategic force of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The order says the military rank of general is conferred on Jang Chang Ha and one other, the military rank of colonel general on Kang Kyong Ho, the military rank of lieutenant general on Choe Pyong Wan and one other, the military rank of major general on Choe Chol Ung and eight others, the military rank of senior colonel on Han Kum Bok and 18 others, the military rank of colonel on Pak Kwang Chol and 43 others, the military rank of lieutenant colonel on An Chol U and 17 others, the military rank of major on Kim Myong Nam and two others, the military rank of senior captain on Song Ryong Il and five others, the military rank of captain on Kim Hae Ryong and the military rank of first lieutenant on Ryu Hyok.
