Forest creation is a patriotic undertaking of lasting significance for the prosperity of the country.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is energetically leading the forest restoration campaign in order to turn the country into a thickly-wooded paradise for the people good to live in.
Ryom Song Hwan, Senior Official of the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection, says:
"On November 10, 2014 the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to the Central Tree Nursery under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection and ardently called on all to turn out in the forest restoration campaign, regarding it as a war to improve nature.
A few months later, he made public his famous work 'Let the Entire Party, the Whole Army and All the People Conduct a
Vigorous Forest Restoration Campaign to Cover the Mountains of the Country with Green Woods', kindling the flames of patriotism in the hearts of the entire people once again.
Whenever he saw a thick forest on his field guidance tour, he was pleased more than anybody else and highly praised those who contributed to the forest creation and management as patriots."
Kim Jong Un had modern tree nurseries built across the country, saying that growing saplings is the first process of forest creation.
He visited tree nurseries and stressed the need to produce lots of saplings of good species.
Under his energetic leadership, forest creation is vigorously promoted as a nationwide and all-people drive and the appearance of the country drastically changed in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
