Looking round the farm machine stations and the Jongju Tractor Spare Parts Factory in Sukchon County and Jongju City, he touched on speeding up the development and production of farm machines suited to the topographical conditions of the country and taking positive measures to supply spare parts in time.

While learning about the farming preparations of different farms including the Township Farm in Sukchon County, the Sinchon Farm in Jongju City and the Kunchon Farm in Cholsan County, he stressed the need to bring about a good harvest in the preceding wheat farming by putting primary efforts into securing the organic fertilizer and perfecting the irrigation system.

After looking round the completed Woldo Tideland, Kim Tok Hun pointed out that the officials and workers of the Tideland Reclamation Complex of North Phyongan Province should push ahead with the next-stage project in a bold and offensive way on the basis of the successes and experience gained last year.

The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed issues concerned and took relevant measures.

Meanwhile, Premier Kim acquainted himself on the spot with the operation of different food supply stations and grain stores in South and North Phyongan Provinces and took relevant measures and learned about the construction of rural houses.
