Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un of the armed forces of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea inspected the post on Kkachil Peak of Mt Osong where soldiers are levelling guns at the enemy one day in June Juche 102 (2013).
Though officers entreated him not to go there as it was an extremely dangerous place which was near the enemy line, he resolutely inspected the post, saying how disappointed the soldiers would be if he did not meet them when he came to Mt Osong and he could not leave the post if he did not meet them.
Wearing a broad smile on his face, he kindly held the hands of the soldiers and imbued them with ardent love and trust, saying it was not an isolated post and the Supreme Commander was always with them.
The soldiers of Mt Osong are not only ones who received such loving care and trust.
One day in August 11 years ago, Kim Jong Un expressed his intention of inspecting Mu Island which is located in a hot spot the following day.
The officials stood up at once and asked him not to go there.
Then he said to the officials not to dissuade him as he had to go there no matter how dangerous it would be and how rough the sea would be and there were soldiers he loved most, adding that who would go there if he had not gone as the Supreme Commander.
Like this, he always missed soldiers and did not hesitate to go among them after long journeys of covering a rugged path and gave them parental love by learning in detail whether they slept in warm beds or they ate hot meals in warm place and how meat, fish and vegetables were supplied to them.
The KPA soldiers are filled with burning enthusiasm to unhesitatingly dedicate even their youth and lives for the Party, the revolution, the country and the people as they cherish his paternal love in their hearts.
