Multiple launch rocket system firing drill staged by long-range artillery sub-units

Multiple launch rocket system sub-units concerned of a long-range artillery unit of the Korean People's Army in the western sector of the front staged a firing drill at 7 a.m. on the 20th.
The United States and the south Korean puppets staged another joint air drill involving more than 10 "B-1B" strategic bombers and "F-35" stealth fighters on February 19.
They do not conceal that their drill was for coping with the intercontinental ballistic missile launching drill we staged on the 18th, and they resort to military demonstration.
This year alone, the United States and the south Korean puppets staged several joint air drills, aggravating the military tension.
They say that they have demonstrated the joint defence capacity and posture with the immediate involvement of expanded war deterrent and that they would increase the frequency and intensity of the deployment of US strategic assets in south Korea in the future, too.
On the order to stage a power demonstration fire, the multiple launch rocket system sub-units concerned of a long-range artillery unit of the KPA in the western sector of the front mobilized the 600 millimeter multiple launch rocket system and fired two shells at the virtual targets 395 kilometres and 337 kilometres away respectively on the East Sea of Korea on the morning of the 20th.
Other sub-units staged firepower training in the tunnel positions without ball firing at the same time.
The 600 millimeter multiple launch rocket system mobilized for the drill is the latest multiple launch precision attacking weapon system of our army and a tactical nuclear offensive means with tremendous power, whose one unit and four shells can be allotted for each operational airport of the enemy.
At the donating ceremony held at the end of December last year, the Academy of Defence Science and the Nuclear Weapons Research Institute expressed their definite opinion that four shells of the 600 millimeter multiple launch rocket system can reduce an operational airport of the enemy to ashes so that it cannot perform its function.
Through the recent firing drill involving the super-large multiple launch rocket system, a tactical nuclear offensive means, the KPA fully displayed its firm preparedness and will for countering the US-south Korean joint air forces boasting of their air supremacy.
