Officials of the Information and Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea went to farms in North and South Phyongan and North and South Hwanghae provinces, which are focusing all efforts on the immediate farming preparations, true to the noble intention of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un that giving ideological and moral, material and technical support and assistance to the rural communities should be a trend of the whole society.
At Jongju City and Phyongwon, Singye and Jaeryong counties, they did farming together with agricultural workers, bringing home the intention of the Party Central Committee which set the attainment of grain production goal as the first target of the 12 major goals for the national economic development.
They visited farmers’ houses with aid materials they had prepared with sincerity and learned about their living conditions with the feelings of being their kith and kin, encouraging them to bring about a radical turn in agricultural production as the reliable performers of the rural revolution who are responsible for filling the country’s granaries.
Meanwhile, artistes of the Mansudae Art Troupe and members of the artistic motivational teams of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea and the art squad of film workers conducted performing activities at farm fields, inspiring farmers with enthusiasm for the revolution and struggle.
