The Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory is a local industrial factory in Kangwon Province.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un called at the factory on July 25, Juche 107(2018).
He kindly said: I wanted to come here from long ago. Today I've made time to see the officials and employees of the factory work.
He highly praised the factory for producing quality products and asked an official of the factory about the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory compared with similar factories in the provinces.
The official said that she was going to compete with well-known foodstuff factories in the capital city.
Listening to her, Kim Jong Un said: I like your will to compete with foodstuff factories under the central authority. You ought to do so. I am pleased to hear that.
When comparing with foodstuff factories under the central authority, the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory lacked in many aspects.
As he liked the ambitious will of the official to produce better foodstuffs with a high goal, Kim Jong Un inspired her with confidence and courage.
That day, he stressed: There is no reason for the provincial-level foodstuff factory to turn out the products worse than those produced at the foodstuff factories under the central authority in quality. The quality of the foodstuffs for the people should be the same whether they were produced in the province or in the capital.
The enthusiasm for developing new products and improving their quality has increased at the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory every year.
Last year, too, products of the factory were highly estimated at a national exhibition along with foodstuff factories under the central authority.
People like to buy the products of the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory as their packing is smart and their varieties are diverse.
