The Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory is a local industrial factory in Kangwon Province.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un called at the factory on July 25, Juche 107(2018).

He highly praised the factory for producing quality products and asked an official of the factory about the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory compared with similar factories in the provinces.

That day, he stressed: There is no reason for the provincial-level foodstuff factory to turn out the products worse than those produced at the foodstuff factories under the central authority in quality. Last year, too, products of the factory were highly estimated at a national exhibition along with foodstuff factories under the central authority.
