In South Hamgyong Province there is the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm which has been built into a world's leading large greenhouse farm and a base of rural civilization of Korean style according to the decision of the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The employees of the farm are working hard to put the vegetable production and management on a higher scientific footing with the pride of working at the glorious farm associated with the love and affection of the WPK which pays deep concern to supplying vegetables to the people in Hamhung City, an industrial and academic city of the country, and in South Hamgyong Province.
They are paying special concern to ensuring temperature suited to the winter conditions and solving sci-tech problems arising in the vegetable growing in close contact with researchers of relevant units.
While securing manure and producing vegetable sprouts in a substantial way, they are devoting their sincere efforts to the manuring and cultivation to produce different kinds of vegetables.
The fresh vegetables produced at the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm are helpful to improving the diet of people in South Hamgyong Province.
