Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the chemical industry of the DPRK strive to consolidate the foundations for production.
The Ministry of Chemical Industry took scientific and practical measures for expanding the production capacity of major chemical industrial bases and has pushed ahead with the work for their implementation from the beginning of the year.
The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex is concentrating efforts on the work to put production on a normal basis with domestic raw materials and fuel.
The February 8 Vinalon Complex provided a guarantee for increasing the production of various basic chemical products and has carried out the repair tasks planned for this year.
The Sinuiju Chemical Fibre Mill is speeding up the remodeling of tens of objects.
Other chemical factories, too, launched the projects to technically perfect their production processes, providing a guarantee for increasing the variety and output of chemical products. -0-
