Press Statement by Director-General of International Organizations of DPRK Foreign Ministry

Jo Chol Su, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) issued the following press statement on March 22:
At an open meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on March 20, the U.S. Representative to the UN groundlessly picked on the DPRK again over its exercise of the right to self-defense and spouted a litany of rhetoric about the outdated CVID and so-called “human rights situation”.
The U.S. conspiracy against the DPRK at the UN arena only reveals before the world the failure of the American-style diplomacy which has gone bankrupt for its anachronistic and unrealistic nature.
Thomas Greenfield may think she is “struggling” for the U.S. interests, but she should know that she is only making shameful acts of badly defaming the image of the U.S. administration.
The pressure on the DPRK to abandon its nuclear weapons precisely means a declaration of war.
Any force should keep in mind that if it tries to apply CVID to the DPRK, it will be resolutely dealt with in accordance with the DPRK’s law on nuclear force policy.
The international community still recalls with anger and pain the inhuman crimes committed by the U.S., when it invaded Iraq 20 years ago and killed hundreds of thousands of the civilians and plunged the Middle East into the vortex of war.
How many more countries will have to suffer from invasion and how many more people will have to shed their blood before the U.S. imperialists stop their high-handed and arbitrary practices?
A few days ago, I warned that Thomas Greenfield would surely deplore her position as a stooge and servant of the U.S., when she dared to find fault with the “human rights situation” in the DPRK.
If she is not prudent though belatedly and continues to speak and act maliciously, she will be the first to be judged by justice as a stooge of the “empire of evils”.
