Anniversary of Victory of Sandinist People’s Revolution Observed

The Nicaraguan Embassy here hosted a congratulatory event at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on July 19 to celebrate the 45 th anniversary of the victory of Sandinist People’s Revolution.
Present there on invitation were Ra Yun Bak, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned of the DPRK and diplomatic envoys and members of foreign embassies in the DPRK.
Manuel Modesto Munguía Martínez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua was present.
Speeches were made at the event.
The Nicaraguan ambassador referred to the historic significance of the victory of Sandinist People’s Revolution and denounced the U.S. imperialists’ anti-Nicaragua moves.
He wished H.E. Marshal Kim Jong Un , supreme leader of the DPRK, good health and bigger success in his work for leading the great country.
Ra Yun Bak said that the victory of the revolution was an important event in the history of Nicaragua as it rejected the outsiders’ domination and interference and strongly promoted the independent development.
Expressing full support to the Nicaraguan government and people in their struggle for building a new society, he stressed that the peoples of the two countries would always stand together on the road of independence against imperialism.
Then the participants watched a video dealing with the Sandinist People’s Revolution.
