Youth and students across the country held meetings for resolutely destroying the reckless moves of the US imperialists and the south Korean puppet traitors to stifle the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and marched chorusing wartime songs on the 22nd and the 23rd.
Speeches were made at the meetings attended by the youth league officials and youth and students in the provinces, cities and counties.
The speakers said the reckless moves of the US imperialists and the south Korean puppet traitors to provoke a war trigger off bitter indignation of young people of Juche Korea demonstrating its might as a citadel of socialism and a powerful country independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence. They expressed their will to deal a merciless blow at the warmongers engrossed in the aggressive war exercises by devoting themselves to the sacred war for national defense.
Enraged voices of the young people chanting slogans of annihilating the enemy were heard in different parts of the country.
Youth and students marched through streets, chorusing wartime songs including "Song of National Defense" and "Advance on and on".
