In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, young people are called beautiful flowers of the country and nation and the most vital detachment of the society.
Miracles and merits are performed and noble virtues fully displayed everywhere there are young people.
The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un values most and highly praises the warm mentality of the young people who are more concerned with state affairs than they are with their family affairs, think first of the society and collective before themselves and consider others' pain to be their own.
The Second National Conference of Exemplary Young People of Virtue was held in the capital Pyongyang in May Juche 104(2015).
Kim Jong Un had a photo session with the participants in the conference.
Before the photo session, he met the young people who distinguished themselves in displaying the spirit of devoted service for the country and people, the lofty moral obligation to the revolutionary forerunners and comrades and the beautiful moral traits.

"At that time, 18 exemplary young people had the honour of meeting the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Among them were a young coal miner who performed labour feats in deep underground pit, a girl who volunteered to teach at a school of an island village after graduating from a university in Pyongyang and a 20-year-old girl, called 'mother', bringing up seven orphans.
Hearing their beautiful deeds one by one, Kim Jong Un said the ideological and mental qualities and fine traits of the young people, the vanguard in defending and glorifying socialism of Korea, are the precious ones that cannot be compared with any valuables.
Very often, people liken treasure to the valuables. Kim Jong Un, however, valued the noble mentality and fine traits of the young people as the precious ones that cannot be compared with the valuables."
