The schoolchildren on an expedition of the 1,000-ri journey for learning passed through Hyangsan.
During the march, the members of the expedition group visited the Chongun Inn Revolutionary Site and the Huichon Inn Revolutionary Site. They deeply studied the immortal revolutionary exploits of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who matured the lofty will to save the destiny of the country and nation while making the 1,000-ri journey for learning and the 1,000-ri journey for national liberation in his early years.
During recesses of the march, they held a meeting for telling impressions on the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and question-and-answer contest.
The expedition group arrived at Hyangsan County Town on the 26th.
It was warmly met by officials, working people and school youth and children in Hyangsan County.
The members of the group laid a floral basket and bouquets before the bronze statue of Kim Il Sung in Hyangsan County Town and paid tribute to him.
They left Hyangsan County Town on the 27th for Mangyongdae.
