The role of the talented personnel is very important in pioneering and leading every field of the society with success. In this sense, it can be said that the duty of an educator who has to train talented personnel is most important.
At Pyongyang Middle School No. 1, an institution for training talented persons, there is an educator who was selected as one of the 10 best teachers in 2022. He is Department Head Ri Ik Son.
Since he started teaching at the school tens of years ago, he has devoted his wisdom and enthusiasm to education with an unusual pride of being responsible for the work to train good future scientists and technicians.
In those days, he acquired a unique teaching method for raising the cognitive effectiveness in teaching physics and wonderfully applied it to the educational practice. He also wrote many textbooks and reference books and invented and manufactured modern experimental and practical apparatuses.
He gave lectures to the students with main stress on emphatic and plain teaching so that they could make an innovative study with thinking faculty and independence.
The lectures based on his high ability and teaching skills always won popularity of the students as they were interesting from the beginning to the end.
So, his disciples would be estimated that they are very good at thinking theoretically and actively and get good marks in physics and other subjects.
Many of them have made a contribution to the scientific and educational development of the country.
In recent years the school has produced a lot of students who proved successful in national school contests. It is also unthinkable apart from his efforts.
Ri Ik Son is working heart and soul to improve the teaching contents and methods and further raise the qualifications of the teachers of his department with the desire to train a larger number of talented personnel who will glorify the motherland.
He is devoting himself to education with high sense of responsibility, who inspires enthusiasm of the teachers and students.
