30th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's field guidance to Songdowon Int'l Children's Camp marked A meeting was held at the Songdowon International Children's Camp on the 29th to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il's field guidance to it.
A report was made at the meeting which was attended by Kim Chol, Secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and teaching staff of the camp.
The reporter said.
On March 30, Juche 82(1993) the great leader Kim Jong Il visited the camp rebuilt on an expansion basis and learned in detail about its construction, accommodation and cultural recreation facilities before giving precious instructions on its management and operation. His field guidance to the camp served as an occasion that brought about a new turn in the children's camping.
The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who personifies the noble outlook of Kim Jong Il on the rising generations and the future made great painstaking efforts to turn the camp wonderfully into a palace of children best in the world and into a comprehensive extracurricular educational base for school youth and children.
Under the great loving care continuously shown by Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un, the song of happiness "We Are the Happiest in the World" sung by the campers is resounding far and wide, the reporter said and called on all the teaching staff of the camp to improve and strengthen its management and operation as well as the organization of camping and thus make a contribution to training schoolchildren as pillars of the country with ample knowledge, noble morality and strong physique.
